Shared Lives Sheffield - Adult Family Placement

Shared Lives Plus is a National Organisation. Sheffield has its own scheme called Shared Lives Sheffield which is run by staff working for the Local Authority. The principle of Shared Lives is that individuals with support needs are supported to have daycare, a short break or live in placement with self-employed carers in their own homes ensuring they are part of the carer's family.

By combining the skills, experience and resources from both organisations Target SupportCare aim to deliver high quality, person centred support and accommodation to support mental health recovery and growth towards independence. We hope to continue working in line with both organisations shared ethos of ‘giving a chance’ to those individuals who may have had difficulty maintaining a tenancy or engaging in support elsewhere.
