      CLIMB

      CLIMB (Carers Living in Mountain Boots) is a peer support group for parents and carers of children with additional needs. We meet fortnightly over hot drinks and cake to chat and hear from relevant guest speakers.

      Epilepsy Action Sheffield Branch - Coffee and Chat sessions

      The Sheffield Branch of Epilepsy Action runs an Epilepsy Support Group. Regular monthly meetings are where people affected by epilepsy can meet, find mutual support and basic advice about epilepsy in a small friendly group. Everybody is welcome who is affected by epilepsy, either directly or indirectly. *** Face to face meetings are currently suspended due to COVID-19 - contact us to chat.***

      Sheffield Mencap & Gateway - Sharing caring project

      The project works with family carers over 55 of people with a learning disability and or Autism. Our particular focus is to keep in touch and help families to create emergency plans and to support them to think about the future and longer term plans.

      Sheffield Young Carers (SYC)

      We offer support to children and young people aged 8-25 who live in Sheffield and are young carers. Being a young carer means they provide care for one or more family members who have disabilities, long-term physical illnesses, and/or mental health difficulties. They may be providing physical, personal, financial and/or emotional care. We also offer support to children and young people aged 8-25 who live in Sheffield and are affected by drug and alcohol issues in their family (now or in the past).
