Epilepsy Action Sheffield Branch - Support Group

The Sheffield Branch of Epilepsy Action runs an Epilepsy Support Group. Regular monthly meetings are where people affected by epilepsy can meet, find mutual support and basic advice about epilepsy in a friendly group. Everybody is welcome who is affected by epilepsy. The group sometimes invites speakers. *** Face to face meetings are currently suspended due to COVID-19, do contact us to chat.***

When: The second Thursday of every month (except August)

Times: 7.15pm - 8.45pm

Cost: Free, but donations of £1 (or more) per session are welcome.

*** Regretably, face to face meetings are still suspended due to COVID-19 restrictions aimed to keep everyone safe.  They will restart as soon as it is safe to do so.  In the meantime do contact us if you need support.  We are trialling virtual support group sessions, but you will need to register with Epilepsy Action to be able to access these to ensure that all "attendees" are safeguarded in the session. ***

The Sheffield Branch of Epilepsy Action runs an Epilepsy Support Group. Regular monthly meetings are where people affected by epilepsy can meet, find mutual support and basic advice about epilepsy in a friendly group.  There is an opportunity to get involved in the work of the charity, if you wish.  Everybody is welcome who is affected by epilepsy, either directly or indirectly or just has an interest in the condition. The group sometimes invites speakers to attend - see website or contact us for details.  Speaker's topics may be related to living with epilepsy or of a general interest.

The Epilepsy Action Sheffield Branch also provides a local contact point offering support to family, friends and those with epilepsy. They can offer advice and special counselling from the British Epilepsy Association trained contact volunteers.

Access: Wheelchair access, lift and disabled toilet.
