Carewatch has been providing home care in Sheffield since 2000 and is one of the largest care providers in Sheffield employing over 170 care workers and providing over 3500 hours of home support to service users each week. Service users include older people, adults with learning disabilities, physical impairments and/or sensory impairments and those in receipt of Direct Payments.
Services Provided:
- personal care, including washing and dressing, bathing/showering toileting/continence care, catheter care
- meal preparation
- medication support
- practical support including cleaning, laundry, shopping and pension collection
- sitting service
- waking night & sleep-in service
- accompanying on social activities/outings
Prices:
£19.80 per hour, no extra for weekends or Bank Holidays. Calls that are less than 1 hour are charged pro-rata (this price has been provided by Carewatch, please check it yourself for accuracy).
Areas Served:
Carewatch covers Sheffield S5, S6 and S35.
Qualifications & Quality Standards:
Carewatch is an approved home support provider for Sheffield City Council and is registered and inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to ensure a quality service is provided. Currently rated as excellent (3 star) by the CQC. All care workers are trained in Moving & Handling, First Aid, Fire Safety, Food Hygiene, Medication, Infection Control, Safeguarding, Person Centred Care, Confidentiality, have satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS (formerly CRB) check.
