Residents group for Sheffield City Centre
The group is the Residents Association for the city centre, representing the 22,000 people living inside the Ring Road and enables anyone living in the city centre or with connections there, to raise any matter involving activities they need more information about, or have a problem with. It creates contact between residents, traders, community matters, police priorities, licensees, health care, local services, City Council, planning, pubs & clubs, graffiti, begging, Business Improvement District, litter and more.
It also creates initiatives to improve the centre for residents, workers and visitors, including the addition in summer 2020 of a Musical Pocket Park in Fountain Square, Barkers Pool.
