ALIVE Specialist Day Care Service

Alive is a fun, safe and relaxed environment for adults with learning / physical disabilities in Sheffield. Our aim is to promote mental and physical wellbeing. We achieve this by developing and maintaining mental and physical skills while being engaged in activities and therapies. Come and meet new people and make lifelong friends.

ALIVE is a specialist day care service that aims to give the best opportunities to young adults with profound and complex learning and physical disabilities.  We offer specialist needs requirements for each and every individual and unique opportunities to build your own tailor-made service to suit individual needs.

ALIVE provides a fun, safe and relaxed environment and our aim is to promote mental and physical wellbeing.  We achieve this by developing and maintaining mental and physical skills with our users engaging in activities and therapies.  ALIVE has a well-established and highly motivated staff team who are passionate about the work they do and promote choice while working in a person-centred manner.

ALIVE is unique in the service it provides in that service users can “pick and mix” the days and activities they join.  They can come alone or bring their own support and can also self-refer.  Alive is part of The Campus on Pack Horse Lane in High Green in Sheffield.  We have three main areas occupational, sensory and therapy which includes a trampoline for rebound therapy, a hydrotherapy pool, two sensory rooms and a ball pool.  We also have art and baking sessions.

ALIVE also holds supports its wider community with social events which give parents and carers an opportunity to meet and share experiences as well as catching up with the staff team.
