TimeBuilders

Description

TimeBuilders combines the skills and passions of volunteers across Sheffield to create projects that respond to real needs in our communities. These are...

Nourishing Projects: Our volunteers tackle food poverty, using surplus food to cook and serve tasty meals at community cafess and FoodCycle hubs.

Growing Projects: Our volunteers grow organic food in un-used city spaces, supplying community cafes and FoodCycle hubs.

Making Projects: Our volunteers run communal workshops where tools, materials and skills can be shared, recycling, restoring & reusing.

Learning Projects: Our volunteers facilitate informal classes in a variety of subjects. Our main focus is spoken English for learners of all levels.

Connecting Projects: Our member’s groups allow us to share skills, talents and passions, while our events celebrate our work and invite others to join us.

We are a time-banking scheme. Volunteers earn timecredits for every hour they contribute, and these can be spent on an hour of fun or educational activities.

Please get in touch with us to find out how you can share your skills, talents and time.
