Paces High Green School


Paces is a Department for Education Non-Maintained Special School (DFE Registration No 373/7044) for children aged between 2 and 18 years of age with neurological motor disorders, including cerebral palsy and other brain dysfunctions. The school also provides a developmental programme for children under 2 years of age who have motor disorder or global developmental delay with motor dysfunction. Childrens services are normally funded through a statement of Special Educational Needs by the Local Authority.

Paces also run a programme, Leaping The Void (LTV) for young adults aged 18 years and over which aims to to help them adapt to the world outside of school and to keep fit & healthy (see separate entry).

Paces is a parent-led charity so the foundation, vision, planning and design of services is structured by the needs of the families.

Qualifications & Quality Standards:
The Paces School has been providing internationally recognised conductive education since 1997 and has achieved an Ofsted rating of "Outstanding". Teaching staff have QTS. Self or any referral.
