Women's Institute (WI) - Crosspool

Crosspool Women's Institute (WI)

Crosspool Women's Institute (founded March 2012) offers opportunities to make friends in a happy social atmosphere, share educational courses to learn new skills, get involved with the local community, have interesting speakers and enjoy outings and activities. We are part of the South Yorkshires Federation of Women's Institutes (SYFWI)  and the National Federation of Women's Institutes (NFWI)

Offers a range of extra groups to allow people to socialise over their favourite things which include Knit, Crochet and Natter, a book group, craft group, Lunch and Supper Clubs and occasional theatre and coach trips. Unique to the WI, Crosspool members and visitors can attend either or both meetings each month for their subscriptions.

Annual Membership for 2021 is £44 (pro-rata arrangements are possible), refreshments and raffle £1.50 per meeting. Guests can attend their first meeting free, but the fee for their next two visits is £3.50 (only 3 visits allowed without joining).  Check our website for the programme or follow our Facebook page. Open to new members - visitors are always welcome.  The group meets twice a month at two different venues:  St Columba's Church, S10 (3rd Monday in the month) and Stephen Hill Methodist Church, S10 (4th Monday in the month).
