- Description: Redmires Lodge Day Nursery & Pre-School is situated in an enviable location on the edge of Sheffield just 5 minutes from Broomhill and the Central Hospitals. We cater for children aged 3 months to 5 years and we are open from 7.30am - 6.30pm all year round. We are registered for 63 children by Ofsted. All staff are fully qualified and have a recognised childcare qualification from NVQ level 3 up to Degree Status. We employ all childcare apprentices on a supernumerary basis. The provision has been rated OUTSTANDING in their most recent OFSTED judgement.  Children have attended Redmires Lodge from all over Sheffield, the Hope Valley, Rivelin Valleys and further beyond. A reputation spread by recommendation alone, not just because of our easy access to Sheffield but because parents want to bring their children here. Funded Early Learning (FEL) is accessible for 9 mth, 2, 3 & 4 year olds. Purpose developed facility with childcare in mind, undertaken by experienced architects in the field. Plenty of natural light with ample windows throughout. Countryside views from both inside and out. Viewing is recommended to fully appreciate these wonderful facilities. Outside secure play area with views of the countryside.  Home cooked 2 course lunch provided by a professional catering company. Menus change weekly with various choices each day. Special dietary requirements are catered for. There is an additional charge for lunch. Breakfast, tea, snacks and drinks included in the cost. Nappies, wipes and formula milk included in the cost. Idyllic location on the west of Sheffield with fabulous views of the countryside. Ample car parking, with the added bonus of a stress free, safe car park for dropping off. Separate quiet classroom area for special activities. Spanish classes. Full parental involvement is key and very important to us.
