We contact MAST or any other service such as speech and language therapists if needing support or advice
We complete ESCAL (Every Sheffield Child a Learner) trackers and Locke and Beech development profiles
We offer settling in sessions before children start in our nursery
Parents complete `All About Me’ books about their children’s routines, development, likes and dislikes. This information is shared with the child`s key person
When children are about to make the transition from nursery to school we complete transition documents for the school which includes information about the child’s development and interests

- The First floor of the setting is accessible for wheelchair users
- The second floor is not accessible for wheel chair users
- We use visual timetables, Rebus symbols, Makaton signs and PECs (Picture Exchange Communication system) with children
- We use Communication in Print
- The outdoor area is secure for the children
- We provide quiet areas in each room and children access the quiet area if they choose to
- We do not have access to disabled changing
