Brantwood Specialist School (Ruskin Mill Trust)
Brantwood is an independent specialist school for up to 50 children and
young people aged 7-19 years with complex learning disabilities and behavioural needs, including Autistic Spectrum Disorders / Asperger Syndrome, Tourette Syndrome, ADHD, attachment difficulties and those deemed ‘hard to engage’ such as school refusers.
Placements within the school can be on a day or residential basis as Brantwood School is also a registered Children’s Home and can offer 38 or 52 week provision on a full time, part time or respite basis. Children and young people can reside within this provision independently of attending the school.
Brantwood is the newest member of the Ruskin Mill Trust family (see separate entries) and first opened its doors to students in September 2011. A registered charity and company limited by guarantee no 7481656.
