At Midhurst, we have a dedicated staff team who treat residents like family, ensuring they receive the best care. Our staff are passionate about looking after people, and it shows in the positive feedback we receive from District Nurses and GPs, who refer people to us because of our reputation for excellent care.
Our 54 en-suite bedrooms offer views of our beautiful gardens and countryside, and our communal areas are spacious and comfortable, with 60-inch TVs and bay windows. We also have a purpose-built conservatory with a piano for residents to enjoy. Regular entertainment and physical activities, such as music and movement sessions, help keep residents engaged and active.
The food at Midhurst is home-cooked and varied, with three cooks catering to different dietary needs. We hold birthday parties and celebrations in the conservatory, and Julie, our senior cook, regularly checks in with residents to ensure they’re happy with their meals. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day, and residents can even keep their own beer in their rooms.
There’s always something happening at Midhurst—whether it’s baking, quizzes, gardening, or trips to local attractions like Meadowhall or the countryside. We also have a hairdresser visit once a week.
We understand that families may feel worried when leaving a loved one in care, but we reassure them that their family member will always be well looked after. Visitors are welcome at any time, with no restrictions. Our staff are here 24/7, offering consistency and support, while also respecting residents' privacy.
