Talbot Specialist School is a maintained school in Sheffield. We provide education for young people aged 11-19 with a wide range of needs including Severe and Complex learning difficulties, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Talbot has been judged Outstanding in its last 2 Ofsted Inspections of which we are extremely proud.

We became a Specialist School for Cognition and Learning Difficulties in 2008, followed by a Leadership and Innovation Hub in 2011. We have secured Investors in People (Gold) Team Teach Gold Standard and the Inclusion Quality Mark in 2 successive reviews.

Our school is the platform on which our community has built a reputation for delivering high quality provision, driven by its desire to continually improve practice.

In 2013, we became a Teaching School Alliance forming Fusion TSA and in 2020 became Fusion SEND Hub.  Fusion SEND Hub are Consultant Teachers in SEND who provide support to schools that reflects our moral drive to support the learning of all pupils with SEND, through high quality, responsive and effective professional development and support.
