Mickley Hall - Care Home with Nursing
Mickley Hall is a wheelchair-accessible nursing home in Totley near Sheffield. We support up to 39 individuals aged from 18 years old who require nursing care due to a physical disability or neurological condition.
Our specialist nursing staff team is proud to support people who have needs resulting from physical disabilities and neurological conditions, including spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, stroke, cerebral palsy, Huntington’s disease, motor neurone disease, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson’s disease, spina bifida & hydrocephalus.
We also focus on supporting the individuals who live at Mickley Hall with all-around health & wellbeing programmes, rehabilitation, community access, enablement & transitioning to more independent accommodation, volunteering & purposeful activities.

We are a wheelchair accessible home just a short distance The Peak District and Sheffield but have many local amenities close by like restaurants and shops.
We have on site physiotherapist to support individuals’ physical needs and encourage recovery.
Mickley Hall has a spacious living room with cinema project screen, large dining room and activities centre with service user kitchenette to help individuals we support maintain their independence.
We have several bathrooms and wetrooms suitable for individuals with a physical disability alongside bariatric bathing facilities.
There is an accessible courtyard and well used communal gardens.
We are proud that all meals are freshly prepared and cooked by our experienced catering team, catering for specialised diets where required, all of which can be enjoyed in our large dining room.
We have free internet for all to use.
We can support individuals at Mickley Hall on a short term / long term basis and can also accept respite placements for shorter stays.
We have 2 large wheelchair accessible vehicles and 2 smaller vehicles for individuals we support to make use of to access the community.
Many of our rooms have a tracking hoist and we have suitable bariatric rooms available.We help the individuals we support to make use of our Activities Room, with activities such as arts and crafts, quizzes, book reading club, film days, cooking, karaoke, gardening, themed evenings and events and regular trips out.We plan lots of activities out of the home and help individuals live lives of their own choosing – trips to the cinema, shopping, theatre, bowling and holidays.p
