Parson Cross Library

It is free to join Sheffield Libraries. All our libraries offer a broad range of fiction and non-fiction books, which are free to borrow for both adults and children. Your library card also gives you free access to e-books and e-magazines via the Sheffield eLibrary.

All our libraries have computers for public use, with access to the internet. We also offer printing and photocopying, for which there is a charge, and scanning, which is free.

Activities

Babytime (for babies and toddlers up to around 2 years old)
Every Friday, 10.30am-11.30am

Storytime (for pre-schoolers)
Every Saturday, 11am-11.45am, with effect from Tuesday the 9th of September 2025 Storytime will be held on every Tuesday 10.30am-11.15am

Chatterbooks (a reading group for children aged 7-11 years old)
Every last Monday of the month, 3.30pm-4.30pm

Past Times Group (a reminiscence session)
Every 3rd Wednesday of the month, 10am-12 noon

Digital Support
Every 3rd Friday of the month, 1pm-3pm

Library Social
Every Wednesday, 10am-12 noon
