Bloom Sheffield
Bloom Sheffield is a community flower garden, promoting positive mental health through therapeutic horticulture. We run weekly Gardening To Feel Good groups which provide support for women and non binary people who are struggling with mild to moderate mental ill health.
We bring people from different backgrounds together to work collaboratively on a shared outdoor project and aim to improve mental health, reduce social isolation and provide a safe space to share and learn new skills.
We accept referrals from healthcare and via social perscribing and individuals can also self refer via our website.
We have 3 public gardens, two in Heeley and Meersbrook allotments, S8 and one in Wortley, S35. We can cover bus fares for attendees or offer a taxi service if needed.
We are a trans-inclusive space.
