I have always worked with children & now have 3 of my own aged 17, 16 and 12. We are a fun loving family & love the outdoors, craft and messy activities. I enjoy baking & singing with the children and try to spend time outside every day.

Just to give an idea of what we do: this week we have played outside with the bikes, water and other outdoor toys. We had spaghetti to play within the water tray, and we used it to paint pictures. We have hunted out worms and done worm pictures using wool and sand. We had to use our toy hammers to get some toys out of a block of ice. We visited the local park and we also found time to bake a banana cake and play with the toys inside.

We have a dog. Our dog is very friendly. He has a pen and kennel outside where he spends some of the time while I am working.  He is mostly kept separate from the children and they are never left alone with him. 

I have 20 years’ experience of teaching in primary schools in Sheffield, Kuwait, Thailand & Columbia. I help to run Low Bradfield Baby & Toddler Group which we go to most Thursday mornings. I have been childminding for eight years and have enjoyed every minute. I have two fantastic assistants and we have a lot of fun with the children we look after.
