Sheffield Women's Aid (SWA)

Sheffield Women's Aid is a registered charity which provides help, advice and emergency refuge space for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and/or who have experienced honour based abuse or forced marriage.

The service supports women to empower themselves to gain control over their lives. There are refuge practitioners and a children's practitioner who offer sessions and support across 2 refuge buildings housing 37 women at any time.

One refuge is able to accommodate pets at the point of referral and following an assessment.
