SAGE Greenfingers
Anyone who is or has struggled with their mental health and wellbeing can join one of our groups at SAGE. Members benefit from joining our welcoming and friendly groups, and taking part in nature contact, gardening, food growing, arts and crafts or singing.
We find out what our members like to do, and give the support and encouragement they need.
We have a lovely large allotment at Grimesthorpe and a separate smaller plot. There is a cosy indoor space for all weather activities and arts and crafts. Groups meet here on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. You can also looked forward to shared healthy, vegetarian lunch using produce from the allotments.
The women's singing group meet at Christchurch Pitsmoor on Monday afternoons. No singing ability or experience is needed, the group is welcoming and supportive of all women who are interested in joining. Refreshments and snacks available.
