We provide a fully regulated service for individuals with a budget for care and support and who need assistance to live independently at home. We work with you to provide a service that is tailor-made to you.


Our services


Payroll support:
We provide support with the responsibilities of being an employer, while running a payroll for your PA(s); including providing payslips, pension management and assisting with HMRC liabilities. You will be responsible for your financial record keeping and making any payments to your employees, pension contributions, invoices and HMRC liabilities.


Money management and payroll:
This option includes all of our payroll support service and Solo will manage your Direct Payment funding on your behalf. Solo will make all payments relating to your care (employees, HMRC, pension and invoices etc), while allowing you retain control as the legal employer. 


Money management only:
This option is for clients who have a self-employed PA or use any agency / day-service want Solo to receive and pay all care bills directly. Solo will also keep a full financial record on your behalf, including ensuring compliance with funding body audits.


Recruitment support:
Solo will manage all elements of your recruitment campaign to offer of employment, in line with your awarded hours. We will work with you to create a recruitment advert specifically catered to your care and support needs. We manage the candidates (accepting, regretting, screening interviews)can support with interviews. We will also complete safe recruitment checks for successful applicants in line with UK employment law.

Our costings


Payroll only set up:
one-off cost of £250, then an ongoing payment of £30 per pay run (either 4-weekly or monthly)


Money management and payroll:
one-off cost of £345, then an ongoing payment of £90 per pay run (either 4 weekly or monthly)


Money management only:
one-off cost of £95, then an ongoing payment of £60 per month


Recruitment:
£360 per 12-week campaign, includes Creation of advert, creation of job description, posting adverts on agreed platforms, 5 hours of candidate management (accepting, regretting, screening interviews).


Additional services:

  • Enhanced DBS check £75 (per PA)
  • Support with interviews £60, plus travel costs (in person)
  • Support with interviews £30 per hour (online)
  • Creation of terms and conditions of employment £45
  • Creation of job description £60
