Milestones Childcare – A Nurturing Start in S5 Sheffield
Milestones Childcare is a charity-run nursery located in the heart of S5, Sheffield. Guided by a committed board of trustees and led by an experienced Early Years Manager, we provide a nurturing, inclusive, and high-quality early education for children and families in our community.
We welcome children from the age of two up until they start school. Our term-time-only setting offers both 15-hour and 30-hour government-funded Early Learning (FEL) places, with flexible session times to suit families’ needs. We are open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Our setting is built on the strength of a passionate, diverse, and skilled staff team who genuinely love what they do. Each team member is dedicated to making a positive difference in every child’s life—ensuring they feel safe, supported, and inspired every day.
Safeguarding is at the core of everything we do, and supporting families is central to our ethos. We are proud of our inclusive approach and have extensive experience in working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Our aim is to give every child—regardless of background or ability—the very best start in life.
To help sustain our enriching experiences—such as creative activities, special events, and quality learning resources—we ask for a small consumables charge of £1 per 3-hour session.

Breakfast club £2 for all ages – does not need to be booked, can be paid on the day.
Registration fee for non funded hours £20 one off payment, (non refundable)

- Extended hours hot lunch £2.50
- Late collection £15 per half hour from 5 minutes late
- Late payment £5
- Consumables £1.20 per 3 hour session
- Nappies £1 per nappy
2 years
- 3 hour session - AM or PM 8.20am-11.20am or 12-3pm £27.39p per booked session or £30.12p for non booked session.
- Wrap around lunch care for 2 years onwards - 11.20am-12pm £6 per session for regular booked session £6.50 for non booked session (not late collection)
- Extended 30 hours wrap around care – 8.20am-9am or 2.20pm-3pm £6
3 Years
- 3 hour session - AM or PM 8.20am-11.20am or 12-3pm £18.99p per booked session or £20.88p for non booked session.
- Wrap around lunch care for 3 years onwards - 11.20am-12pm £5 per session for regular booked session £5.50 for non booked session (not late collection)
- Extended 30 hours wrap around care – 8.20am-9am or 2.20pm-3pm £5

Accessibility and Inclusion at Our Nursery
Our nursery is located in a single, fully wheelchair-accessible building.
We provide quiet areas where children can relax or take time away from busy environments when needed.
To support all children, we use visual timetables to aid understanding and routine.
We also have accessible toilet and changing facilities designed to meet the needs of children with disabilities.
All of our equipment is inclusive and suitable for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), ensuring every child can participate fully in nursery life.
