Poppy Nursery & Daycare, a registered childminding business named in honor of our loving family dog, Princess Poppy! From the comfort of my home, I’ve created a warm, educational environment where your little ones will feel right at home, learning and growing every day, with Princess Poppy adding an extra dose of joy to our setting.

My name is Barbi, and together with my husband, who assists me, we run Poppy Nursery & Daycare in Manor Top, Sheffield (S2). Originally from Hungary, we’re happy to support children’s language development and can introduce Hungarian and basic German language skills for families who would like it.

With years of experience as a certified nursery assistant and a Level 4 teaching assistant, I am dedicated to helping children grow emotionally, socially, and cognitively. Both my husband and I are trained in paediatric first aid, ensuring a safe and loving environment for your child. Our approach includes hands-on learning activities, outdoor play, and creative projects tailored to each child’s needs, including those with special educational needs (SEND).
