Ed's Workshop

Ed’s Workshop is a community of adult makers with learning disabilities. We provide embedded support enabling budding craftspeople to explore and then pursue their own career journey in making and selling artisan products.

Our makers can follow their own making plans and ideas or join in making house lines. Ed’s Workshop provides a safe place to work and have end-to-end support with product selection, planning and production.

Makers can join at any stage of their career journey. From people exploring different crafts and possible products, to those carrying out trial trading and even those who already have an established micro-business. Our current makers have product lines in woodwork, metalwork and textiles. Makers can join us part time or full time.

At Ed’s Workshop you will belong to a community of craftspeople, have a workplace to go to and a group of like-minded friends around you. Our vision is for a stable community of makers who choose to stay with us in the long term.
