Eligibility criteria for your service and any priority groups

Initial assessments of individual children  are carried out by our own practitioners If there are any developmental delays or concerns identified, we will contact and/ or refer to the relevant agencies/professionals. We work with external agencies to support such children with Special Educational Needs We allow all children a flexible settling in process For transitions we have made picture books for our children with Special Educational Needs including activities that they enjoy doing. These books will be passed on to their new schools.

  • We have disability access for wheelchair users
  • Our open plan room makes it easier for children with mobility difficulties to move around
  • We use visual aids to support younger children, children with limited speech and children with Special Educational Needs
  •  We have accessed training and computer software for the visual support programme ‘Communication in Print
  •  We are able to obtain a range of appropriate resources to support individual children from agencies who are working with individual children
  • We provide quiet areas for children to access in our large rooms
