Friends of Ecclesfield Park aim to revitalise the park, creating a focal point for the village and ensuring a safe, tranquil and fun environment:
• seeks to identify the needs of the community in relation to sports, leisure facilities, the commuity building and a meeting space
• fundraises to improve the park 
• aims to promote community cohesion, improve the health and well-being of the community by increasing sports and leisure activities/opportunities
• maintains and promotes the Community Garden
• seeks to develop awareness/education of the park's heritage and natural environment.

Welcomes volunteers to help with park activities or to work in the community garden.
