Steps Community Nursery (High Green)

We are a 55 place full day care nursery and admit children from 6 months to 5 years. We have been providing quality care and education for over 21 years. Our staff team is very experienced, professional and committed to meeting each child's needs.

We open 8am until 5pm or 6pm, 49-50 weeks a year.

Eligibility criteria for your service and any priority groups

The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) oversees the child’s development in partnership with the key person and parents. The SENCO will also ensure any changes to the provision are planned and carried out.

Staffing arrangements/training to support children or young people with SEND

We have a well trained, very experienced & knowleagable SENDCO. All our staff have experience of working with a range of additional needs and are well supported by our SENDCO. We offer 1:1 or 1:3 care where there is funding available. Our SENDCO also runs a weekly (term-time) SEND drop-in playgroup at The Campus.
