Halcyon Rambling Club was founded in 1927 and is still going strong! We provide a varied programme of walks mainly in the Peak District, but sometimes further afield. Full-day walks every Sunday, Wednesday morning rambles (optional pub lunch) once a fortnight, and Friday evening walks during the summer. Reasonable fitness is required.

There is a varied social calendar with a New Year's lunch being held in January;  week/weekends away (generally May and September);  annual barbecue and other events arranged throughout the year.

Prospective members are welcome to join us for up to three walks before being asked for subscriptions (‘try before you buy’).
