Cellar Space, The
The Cellar Space works with children and young people to promote education through therapeutic interventions. Young people are often referred for therapeutic work when they are at risk of exclusion or have poor attendance at school. Young people attend for half day sessions where they take part in a blend of therapeutic activities, literacy and numeracy work, and more focussed pieces of work on issues such as social skills, anger management, pro social behaviour etc.
Referral is through usually through Schools although enquiries are welcome from other agencies.
The Cellar Space is part of 'The Furnival'.
Prices:
• £80 per half day session of one to one support in Cellar Space
The Cellar Space is located at 199 Verdon Street, S3 (Monday-Friday).
