1. Our goal and why we are unique

Hallam Homecare Services strives to offer, kind, compassionate, effective and, at the same time, affordable domiciliary care. We will do everything possible to respect the rights of our service users, particularly by observing the values of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, civil rights, security and fulfilment, which can easily be threatened by disability or illness. We also take into consideration the Service User’s cultural, religious and language needs. We recognise that providing care is a cooperative process and we will attempt to consult service users and their representatives as fully as possible. We perceive of taking care of those who once cared for us as one of the highest honours.

Hallam Homecare services is unique because we look and treat each case on its own merit. We match our staff to the service users’ needs taking into account the language spoken, cultural awareness and religion differences. 

It is our goal to employ competent, caring, and well-trained carers who are responsive to the needs of our clients to provide person centered care. Our bi-multi lingual staff, speaking Arabic, Bangali, Urdu, Somali, have many years of care experience and a good/practical understanding of both the cultural and religious needs among the community members. All our staff have had constant training that prepares them to fully understand their roles as carers and the ability to deliver person centered care. Some of our staff have also been employed in care for many years.

Hallam Homecare Services aims to provide care and support for people who cannot fully look after themselves. We provide our service in Service Users own home, at times convenient to them and in ways they find most agreeable. We have sound principles for the way we run our service. Central to this is our belief that the rights of service users are paramount.

To focus on service users

We aim to provide personal care and support in ways which have positive outcomes for service users and promote their active participation.

 To ensure that we are fit for our purpose

We examine our operations constantly to ensure that we are successfully achieving our stated aims and purposes. We welcome feedback from our service users and their friends and relatives.

 To work for the comprehensive welfare of our service users

We aim to provide for each service user a package of care that contributes to his or her overall personal and healthcare needs and preferences. We will work in partnership with other services and professionals to help to maximise each service user’s independence and to ensure as fully as possible the services user’s maximum participation in the community.

 To meet assessed needs

Before we provide services, we ensure that a potential service user’s needs and preferences are thoroughly assessed. We aim to ensure that the care we provide meets the assessed needs of each service user, that needs are re-assessed as frequently as necessary, and that the care and support provided have the flexibility to respond to changing needs or requirements.

 To provide quality services

We are whole-heartedly committed to providing kind, compassionate and good quality services as well as continuous improvement in the level of the care we offer.

13.50 - 17.95 Per hour

Time details

Monday to Sunday 8am to 9pm and over night care
