The Derbyshire Caving Association is an association of clubs and individuals interested in the caves and mines of the Peak District and East Midlands. The group organises training events related to expertise in techniques related to caving and also cave conservation methods.

The group works with landowners to maintain access to caves and abandoned mines of historical interest. Also works with statutory bodies to ensure the conservation of caves. Members of clubs and individual members carry out voluntary conservation work related to caves.

The Association is not itself a caving club but, if you are interested in caving, it can help you find a club or else put you in touch with a person who can arrange a "taster" introduction to caving for you.
