Broomhill Community Library
Broomhill Library is staffed by volunteers who provide the library service in partnership with Sheffield City Council. The library offers Wi-Fi and the use of computers free to library members. Document scanning and copying is available together with local newspapers, jigsaw puzzles, audio books, CDs, DVDs and language tapes alongside traditional book lending. The library also offers ex-stock and donated books for sale.
Activities for adults include:
Coffee Cake and Chat. English for non-native speakers. Friday Mornings 10:30am - 12 noon. A weekly conversation group to improve your English and make new friends. Facilitated by Jeni, an TEFL certified teacher. Limited places so please book your place by email: enquiries@broomhill-library.org.uk
Creative Writing Group. 1st and 3rd Friday of the month 1.30 - 3pm. Join an informal, friendly creative writing group. We will write to themed prompts and share short pieces. No pressure to share, all welcome. For more information contact Ann on 07914 407141.
Broomhill Book Groups. We currently have two book groups meeting in the library - one on a Monday evening, the other on a Tuesday evening, both at 7.30pm. If you are interested in joining a book group or perhaps in starting a new one here, please email us at bookgroups@broomhill-library.org.uk

Garden Blitz. Every Wednesday 11am - 1pm. Help to clear Percy Cane's heritage garden. Bring tools and gloves if possible. All levels of experience welcome. For more information email activities@broomhill-library.org.uk, call 0114 273 4276, or call in at the library.
Monthly Litter Pick. Every 3rd Saturday of the month 10.30am - 12.30pm. Meet at Broomhill Community Library. Help to keep Broomhill clean!

The library provides seven computers (two dedicated for use by children), all with MS Office and Internet access, and access to scanner/printer.
