Firth Park Library

It is free to join Sheffield Libraries. All our libraries offer a broad range of fiction and non-fiction books, which are free to borrow for both adults and children. Your library card also gives you free access to e-books and e-magazines via the Sheffield eLibrary.

All our libraries have computers for public use, with access to the internet. We also offer printing and photocopying, for which there is a charge, and scanning, which is free.

Babytime (for babies and toddlers up to around 3 years old)
Every Monday, 10.30am-11.30am

Storytime (for pre-schoolers)
Every Wednesday, 11.00am-12.00am

Code Club (coding class for ages 7-12 years old)
1st Saturday of the month, 2pm-3pm

Byte Buddies (computer skills class for ages 7-12 years old)
2nd Saturday of the month, 2pm-3pm

Bookeroo! (a reading group for children aged 5-7 years old)
3rd Saturday of the month, 2pm-3pm


Chatterbooks (a reading group for children aged 8-12 years old)
4th Saturday of the month, 2pm-3pm

Urdu Women's Reading Group
Three out of four Mondays (depending on Urdu-speaking staff availability), 11am-12noon. Please contact library for more details.

Library Social (Coffee Morning)
Every Tuesday, 11am-12noon

Digital Skills Class (digital support)
Every Wednesday, 10am-12.30pm


Farsi Women's Reading Group
