Sheffield Central Library

It is free to join Sheffield Libraries. All our libraries offer a broad range of fiction and non-fiction books, which are free to borrow for both adults and children. In addition, Central Library has a collection of board games, which are also free to borrow. Your library card also gives you free access to e-books and e-magazines via the Sheffield eLibrary.

All our libraries have computers for public use, with access to the internet. We also offer printing and photocopying, for which there is a charge, and scanning, which is free.

For full details of all our services, please see our website: https://www.sheffield.gov.uk/libraries-archives
