CAST - Creative Arts Support Team
CAST is a friendly group of artists, writers and people who want to try out being creative for the first time.
CAST is one of the community enterprises supported by Sheffield Flourish. We run mental health friendly and fun weekly art and writing groups, and monthly open mic sessions.
We also run an annual exhibition of attendee’s artwork.
Regular groups:
- Art for Wellbeing: for anyone who likes to create art of all kinds. Beginners welcome!

Writing and storytelling: whether you write regularly or are completely new to writing, this is a friendly and structured writing group.
- Artists Gathering Open Mic Sessions: monthly all abilities open mic session. You’re welcome to just watch, or play a song or share a poem. Run in partnership with Open Door Music.
