We are a large, inclusive and welcoming school with 400 pupils aged 7-11 years.

 

The majority of our children begin their school life at our feeder school- Dobcroft infant school. Our aim is to continue this excellent start and to build upon children’s skills and knowledge, fully preparing them for the challenges of secondary school and later life.

 

Our overriding ethos is to provide excellent education for all pupils regardless of their starting points with high expectations for all within a strong values based culture. We achieve high standards and are constantly striving to improve our teaching and learning. We offer an engaging, creative and challenging curriculum- our aim is to engage and inspire children in their learning using a wide range of approaches. We also offer a variety of other extra-curricular opportunities; including outdoor and adventurous residential activities in every year group.
