Sheffield Concert Band
Sheffield Concert Band is currently seeking new members, particularly in the brass and clarinet sections. An ability to sight read is an advantage and a minimum standard of around grade 4 to 5 would be required. We are a friendly band, and have an extremely long history dating back to 1888. We play a very varied repertoire including traditional marches, selections from shows, swing band music and classical overtures etc.
