Progressions Team

The Progressions Team staff work with Sheffield schools to match students to alternative provision training providers from our Alternative Provision network across Sheffield. The team are able to meet with learners, school staff and parents/carers to ensure that the learners are given information and guidance relating to the provision on offer and an understanding of post 16 progression routes.

The team work closely with a variety of approved providers and multiagency workers to support young people, monitor attendance and achievements and help resolve day to day issues. Quality Assurance and Contract compliance is also monitored.

Note: All placements for students must be arranged through a Sheffield school in conjunction with the Progressions Team. We do not arrange placements for individuals on behalf of families, as it is schools who are responsible for oversight of students and payment for these placements.
