Longley 4G Ltd and its services aim to relieve poverty, advance education, and provide facilities for social welfare and leisure time to improve the conditions of life for the people of Longley.

We are committed to tackling social, financial and economic exclusion on the Longley Estate.

We aim to increase the use of the community facilities that we own to create a feeling amongst Longley residents that they are involved and play a part in the life of their neighbourhood.

Food Pantry
Longley 4G offers a weekly Food Pantry to S5 residents who are currently in financial hardship. Membership is £4 for 8 consecutive weeks of shopping and we request a £3 donation each time you shop.

Members select their own shopping and receive on average approximately £20-£25 worth of shopping each week.

Room hire
We have rooms available to hire for training and meetings. Unfortunately we do not take bookings for private parties.

Volunteering opportunities
We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and walks of life. Whether you are looking to make friends, build career experience, or use existing skills to give back; we have a role for you. Our positions are flexible and only require short time commitments at a time that suits your lifestyle. Please contact us to discuss the next steps on your volunteer journey.

Training courses
Longley 4G offers a wide range of training opportunities with courses covering budgeting and financial management, parenting support and childcare and learning just for pleasure.

Fitness classes
Thanks to the support of Sport England we have fitness classes running every day of the week in the centre. Classes are provided on a pay as you feel basis with a minimum donation of £1.

Activities for children
During school holidays Longley 4G provide activities and food as part of the Healthy Holidays scheme.
