Tiddlywinks Centre (Day Nursery)
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, which is based on the principles that children learn best through play.
Children need time, space, resources and an adults support and interaction.
We provide a wide range of activities to enhance, develop and promote children’s learning, providing them with new opportunities and experiences.
Eligibility criteria for your service and any priority groups
All children have an initial assessment within the first 6 weeks of attendance & their progress is recorded on an individual development tracker.
The Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) liaises with the children’s key-person where any concerns are discussed, also with parents then a child may be given an Extra Support Sheet.
This is reviewed after a short period of time and a decision may be made to refer to external specialist services.
An Individual Education Plan (IEP) will be developed and reviewed at regular review meetings.
