Both Parents Matter
We Believe Both Parents Matter...
Too many children grow up knowing only one parent.
Both Parents Matter is a peer-led charity and therefore we cannot provide immediate support, but parents, grandparents, extended family and friends are welcome to join our online and in-person Support Groups. Membership is not a prerequisite for attending most meetings, but we do encourage your active involvement and expect you to sign up for membership if you find our sessions beneficial. Your support contributes to our vital work, and donations to our charity are greatly appreciated.
Our meetings are facilitated by experienced volunteers, and there is no fee for attendance or discussion. Participants share their situations and needs discreetly, ensuring confidentiality. Information, suggestions, and insights are exchanged, covering various topics such as personal issues, addressing false allegations, navigating legal avenues, and understanding related services. We trust you to discern which comments are valuable in your specific situation.
Sheffield Support group:
We meet in the Brewery Room, The Sheffield Tap Bar Pub, Platform 1B, Sheffield Midland Railway Station, City Centre, Sheffield S1 2BP (the bar can be accessed directly from the main road entrance too). Meetings are held once a month on the second Monday at 7:45pm. Please email us beforehand on sheffield@bothparentsmatter.org.uk.
