The Campus
Founded in 2004, HGDT is a not for profit organisation which exists to benefit, support and empower it’s local community of High Green and surrounding neighbourhoods.
The Trust manages The Campus, Pack Horse Lane, High Green. The Campus is an inclusive community centre and business hub where people come to meet others, play sport and take part in other leisure activities as well as to learn and to do business.
In addition we support activities out and about in the local area by partnering with schools, churches, charities, local businesses and community groups.We have various meetings rooms and venue hire accommodating up to 60 people dependant on your requirements. On site catering available from Cafe Hug.
The Campus has a number of occupant organisations on site providing the following services:
Always an Alternative - a charity, created with the ultimate aim of spreading awareness and reducing knife crime, gun crime, gangs culture and anti-social behaviour. Also, runs a weekly youth club on site.
Alive - Specialist Day Care service. Provider of rebound therapy, sensory sessions and rehabilitation support in the therapy pool.
Blossom View - Ten bedded respite home open 365 days a year.
DF Computers - PC and Mac repairs and IT support.
Community Fridge/Food Share/Community Shop - providing the local community and surrounding area with food/toiletries (reliant on donations) and clothes/shoes/household goods/electricals etc
High Green Gymnastics Academy - providing a range of gymnastics coaching for all ages and abilities.
The Family Works - A South Yorkshire based charity offering trauma informed family support.
South Yorkshire Community Foundation / SYFAB - giving to community organisations and helping people, businesses to give.
Steps Nursery - An oustanding OFSTED rated community nursery for children aged 6 months to 5 years old.
Westwood 2015 Limited - a small charity tackling the isolation among vulnerable individuals in the local community. Run activities that help bring people together and build up a strong sense of belonging.
Westwood Joinery and Construction Limited - deal with all aspects of domestic building work from start to finish including new builds, house alterations and renovation and home extensions.
Our Studio room has the following activities regularly taking place: Pilates, Tai Chi, time out, yoga, Zumba, Sweaty Mama classes, youth club, circl mobility, High Green Toddler Group, SEND baby/toddler group, Bloom Baby Classes, Jiggy Wrigglers, Children's Noodle Performance Arts classes, SEND age 16-25 group. In addition a number of local community groups hold regular meetings and activities at The Campus.
