French tuition with Native speaker, Anne Dussart

Here at Donc, Anne Dussart, a native French speaker, has provided 1-to-1 or small group French tuition in south Sheffield and online, at all levels full-time since 2009 to a wide range of students.

She prepares GCSE and A-Level students for their exams, offers classes to adults wanting to learn French for holidays, sports, to purchase a property and/or move to France or purely for interest but also to families and people in various sectors doing business with French-speaking countries.

Having built- up a bank of resources over the years (worksheets, games, books, the internet, CDs and DVDs/videos) she provides variety when covering conversation, grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening and writing.

Also being based near the Peak District, many of her past and current students are keen walkers, runners, bikers, cyclist, climbers for whom she has relevant material too.

Experience gained over the years has been invaluable in recognising the different abilities, learning styles, motivations and time factors that come with each student and adapt her classes accordingly.

Whether you're new to it or getting back into French after a long break, learning a language can seem daunting but that's when small group teaching is so valuable. Her style of teaching is to develop a friendly, dynamic and encouraging environment to put her pupils at ease and increase their confidence and skill in speaking French. She's learned english and still brushing up on her Spanish so she knows what it's like!

Classes are held in a venue in S17 daytime, or sometimes in student's own home in S7, S8, S17 part of S11, and S18  (Monday-Friday). Enquire if unsure.

At Donc we recognise that many people have complicated work patterns (shifts, working away etc) so we try whenever possible to offer some flexibility to these students but for individual daytime classes only.Traditional classes are held on a 1-to-1 basis or in a small to larger group, as a family. We can discuss format and what works better.
