SOAR is a community regeneration charity providing a range of services designed to improve a person's health, well-being and employability. We also developed and manage the Learning Zone, SOAR Works Enterprise Centre and Burngreave Library. 

Health Services Team: a holistic approach to improving health and wellbeing through support, advice and guidance, projects and activities.

The Health Team work with over 400 organisations to improve a person’s health, well-being and employability. We work directly with local people via our Social Prescribing Link Workers, Wellbeing Coaches, Welfare Coaches, Employment Coaches, Peer Support Workers, Family Coaches, and Volunteering offer.

We work 1-1 with local people and also deliver lots of group activities that are co-produced with SOAR’s volunteers, including:

• Chronic Pain Groups
• Social Cafes
• Dementia Social Groups & Carer's Groups
• Financial Fitness courses
• Mental Wellbeing Social Groups
  Mindful Mamas Peer Support Group
• Menopause Programmes
