Join us for a morning of training and networking for professionals, focusing on family safety inside and outside of the home.
9:15am - 10am: Information gathering and networking
10am - 12pm: ‘Dangerous Dog Awareness’ training delivered by South Yorkshire Police
12pm - 12:30pm: Further information gathering and networking
The Dangerous Dog Awareness training will cover:
- To raise awareness and understanding of the banned breeds within UK Legislation
- To raise awareness of partnership agencies involved with dangerous dogs
- To offer an understanding of what to report to Police and how SYP can help you
- To offer safeguarding advice to working professionals and also members of the public
Stalls include: South Yorkshire Police- Dog Legislation Officers & Sheffield South West Neighbourhood Policing Team, Child Brain injury Trust, Sheffield Children’s Lead Sepsis Nurse & Learning Disability Lead, 0-19 Health Visiting Team, England Illegal Money Lending Team- Yorkshire Region Liaise Officer, plus others.
Please note that this is an in-person event. Attendees are asked to attend the full morning. It is available to staff and volunteers, and it is not available to members of the public and no children are allowed. All spaces need to be booked.
