The Bobeam Tree is a magical, interactive experience designed for children aged 0–5 and their families, which is coming to the Millennium Gallery this summer (20 June – 31 August 2026).
The project was launched by The Princess of Wales and The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood. It fosters social and emotional development through exploration, storytelling and discovery, and is touring UK museums as part of the 'Shaping Us' initiative.
The exhibition at the Millennium Gallery will be an immersive, sensory experience with plenty of things to touch, turn, smell, hear, squeeze, see and play with.
In this session, you will find out about the exhibition, what it will look like, and how you and the little ones you work with can get the most out of it. Groups will be able to book in for visits or to run their own sessions in the space. We want all families and groups working with families to feel welcome in the space and to make the most out of this special opportunity to have an exhibition designed specifically for early years families in Sheffield.
