Community of Practice – Working with Dads and Male Carers

The session will include a brief introduction from a local father about being a dad in Sheffield, followed by national evidence on supporting fathers and male caregivers. It will then outline Sheffield’s Community of Practice for dads, before moving into an interactive workshop exploring why dads matter and what barriers exist in services. The session will end with key messages and a practice pledge to promote a champion approach to supporting dads.
