Working with Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Toolkit introduction

The Working with Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Toolkit has been designed to help staff in frontline roles respond safely and effectively when encountering individuals who may be perpetrators of domestic abuse. The toolkit covers interacting with anyone aged 16 and over who has used violence, abuse and controlling behaviours in intimate partner relationships or in situations involving adult family violence. The toolkit aims to raise awareness that most organisations, via frontline staff, are frequently engaging with perpetrators and have opportunities to make a difference and help reduce harm in the city.
