Safeguarding for Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

We all have a responsibility to keep all children and young people safe. A child or young person having a disability, or needing additional support should never stop someone acting on child protection concerns.

Reporting concerns

If you are concerned that a child or young person is being abused or neglected, please contact us using the information below. You do not have to give your name if you do not want to.

Please have the postcode where the child or young person normally lives.  If you cannot provide this information you should still call.

Immediate danger

If a child or young person is in immediate danger please contact the Police by calling 999. 

Reporting Child Abuse

If you are worried that a child or young person is at risk of, or is being hurt, abused or neglected please contact the Sheffield Safeguarding Hub on 0114 273 4855.

Where a family needs support but it is not a child protection risk, please contact Multi Agency Support Team (MAST) on 0114 203 7485.

Reporting Adult Abuse

If you are worried that a young person aged 18 or over is at risk of, or is being hurt, abused or neglected please contact the First Contact Team on 0114 273 4908.
