    Sheffield City Council has 48 older people's residential and nursing care homes on their Care Homes Framework. The Framework was introduced in May 2024. More care homes can apply to be added to the list. To be on the Framework a care home has to embed 8 key principles in the running of the home. These principles describe what a good care home is.
